The Technical
Services Zone is headed by an officer of the rank of IGP and the
Zone comprises of the following subordinate wings:-
⌐Telecommunication Wing, J&K
⌐Forensic Science Laboratory, J&K
⌐Police Hospitals Jammu and Kashmir
⌐Police Transport Workshops Jammu and Kashmir
(including Police Petrol Pumps at
Jammu and Srinagar)
Telecom wing is headed by the DIG who is designated as
Director Police Telecom. the Telecom wing is further divided
in four Zones i.e, Jammu Zone, Kashmir Zone, ACS Kashmir Zone
and ACS Jammu Zone which are
supervised by the officer of the rank of SSP. Similarly the
Police Transport workshops are also supervised by the SSsP who
are designated as SSP PTWS Jammu and SSP PTWS Srinagar.
Moreover, Forensic
Science Laboratory is headed by Director FSL and Police
Hospitals are supervised by Medical Superintendent Police
Hospital Jammu and Medical Superintendent Police Hospital
Srinagar.
